A group of Year 6’s attended the final of David Shepherd’s art competition yesterday at the Natural History Museum. Every one of them were great ambassadors for the school and did us proud.

We made it to the top 10 out of hundreds of entries from 16 countries.  Over 4500 children were involved, so it was an impressive achievement. There was very stiff competition and although our piece looked lovely and displayed and environmental message we didn’t receive a prize.

Jess French, a CBeebies presenter, did an entertaining and educational talk and we had the opportunity to look around the museum. A lovely day was had by all.

Well done to all the children involved.
