During the Wednesday art activities, a group of Y8’s and another of Y6’s created a sculpture which we entered into the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation schools art competition. Our entry was inspired by Blue Planet 2. The animal shapes were cut out of board and mounted on empty plastic soap and washing up bottles. The title of the sculpture is ‘All Washed Up’

They received a record number of entries, 4500 children from 15 countries were involved.

I was delighted to receive the news this week that we have made it into the final! It will be held at the Natural History Museum on 15th March. Congratulations to all the children who took part in the project.
