Recent external scholarship results have once again confirmed that Copthorne has an enviable reputation for academic excellence and all-round achievement. Further results from Worth, Hurstpierpoint and Ardingly will be received soon, but we are well on the way to maintaining our very impressive record of over 50% of our Year 8 leavers receiving a scholarship of some sort, and all getting into their first choice senior school! 1st XV Rugby v Hazelwood 

Won 31-15  After the euphoria of last week we faced another serious challenge against Hazelwood who we have not beaten for some years. If we expected the opposition to hand us the game we were quickly brought back to reality as they went 5-0 ahead. Parity was quickly restored with a Dan T try but again... 

Mathematics and Chinese New Year

We have been busy using our blowing skills to create wonderful Chinese blossom trees! Luckily none of us sucked the ink and we all remembered to blow! We have learnt lots of facts about Chinese New Year – how we should not have our hair washed on the first day, no laundry to be done and no use of knives...
