Fun at PGL!

Our Year 5 and 6 PGL trip was a fantastic adventure all about overcoming fears, stepping outside comfort zones, and learning the power of teamwork. Every single child rose to the challenge, and staff were truly impressed by their incredible can-do attitudes.

For many, it was their first time away from home — and we are proud to say that not a single child experienced homesickness. A real testament to their resilience and enthusiasm!

The activities at the centre, including the giant swing, trip wire, and Jacob’s Ladder, pushed both children and staff out of their comfort zones, especially when it came to heights. Meanwhile, raft building tested everyone’s teamwork and communication skills — and they passed with flying colours!

It was inspiring to see every child collaborate, support one another, and return to school more confident, with stronger friendships and unforgettable memories.

Well done, children — and a huge thank you to the staff for your time, care, and endless enthusiasm.
