Reception have been busy becoming fantastic mathematicians this week! Through lots of practical, hands-on activities, we have been grouping, comparing and sorting objects by different properties such as colour, shape and size. The children loved becoming the teacher by creating their own sorting rules and challenging their friends to guess them, helping to develop their mathematical thinking, reasoning skills and confidence in using mathematical vocabulary.
