Wimbledon Comes to Copthorne 9th July 2025 Uncategorised Wednesday afternoon saw our Year 6 take part in a leavers’ tennis afternoon with their parents and older siblings. Inspired by events up in SW19 we witnessed tennis balls flying everywhere and some very unorthodox tennis shorts. Players competed in a round robin doubles format across the afternoon with a number of matches going down to the final point. The afternoon was rounded off in traditional Wimbledon style with a glass of Pimms and a cream tea. Game, Set, Match!
