Visitors and friends often comment on the warm and friendly family atmosphere at Copthorne Prep. The Friends of Copthorne (FOC – our parents’ committee) nurture this with fun family events. These also raise money for additional facilities or activities – usually things of low financial priority to the school which add an enormous amount to the children’s enjoyment and education. It’s a joint endeavour: the Head of School, in consultation with staff, suggests projects which would really benefit the pupils; the FOC then decide which ventures they would most like to support.
