Commitment and Gusto at Cross Country Comp

At the end of last week, a group of U11 intrepid runners travelled from school to take part in the annual Great Walstead Cross Country event. This event is always a popular one and attended by lots of different schools. The bad weather over the previous days meant that the course was extremely muddy but this often makes such an event more fun. This proved to be the case as every one of our runners ran with great commitment and gusto, crossing the finishing line covered in mud. We are very proud of all who took part with a special mention for Anastasia G who again picked up a medal by coming third in the U11 girls race.

There are more cross country competitions to look forward to after half term, with further chances to get muddy and win some medals.

Squad: Anastasia G, Sienna H, Raiha T, George M, Ore O, Harrish A, Yousef B
