Exploring One-Point Perspective

In Art, Year 6 have been learning how to create the illusion of depth using one-point perspective. They were inspired by the incredible 3D street art of artist Edgar Müller, whose work left them amazed and curious to explore this technique themselves.

Pupils have been practising how to draw lines that accurately lead to a single vanishing point, helping their drawings appear more realistic and three-dimensional. They also applied graduated shading to enhance the sense of depth and form in their work.

It’s been fantastic to see their confidence grow as they master these new skills!
