For the past two weeks, Bumblebees have been lost in the tales of Jack and the Beanstalk and Jim and the Beanstalk. Of course, a good story deserves a bit of magic, so each child planted their own bean and has been looking after it ever since, with plenty of watering and some very close checking.
This week, the waiting paid off. Tiny shoots have started poking through, and the excitement in the classroom was hard to miss. We are not saying there’s a giant at the top yet, but we are keeping a close eye on them.
