Spring Clay Decorations in Year 4 27th March 2026 Creative Arts This week, Year 4 have been busy bringing a touch of spring into the art room through their wonderful clay decorations. The children explored a range of clay techniques, including joining pieces securely and pressing patterns and textures into the surface to create detailed designs inspired by nature. Once their creations were dried and fired in the kiln, the pupils added vibrant colours to make their decorations truly come to life. To complete their pieces, they threaded ribbon and beads so the decorations could be hung and enjoyed.
