Highly Commended for our Maths Competition Team

Our mathematics provision continues to be both ambitious and inspiring, with a strong emphasis on challenge, competition, and a love of problem solving. This week, we were delighted to take a team of four talented mathematicians to a Maths Competition at Worth. With so many enthusiastic Year 5 pupils keen to represent the school, we held a competitive selection process to choose our team. Congratulations to Adam, Rishik, Narayan and Nikolas, who were selected for this exciting opportunity. The boys enjoyed a full day of varied and engaging mathematical activities, testing their skills and teamwork. While we did not take home the top prize, the team was highly commended for their strong arithmetic and excellent problem-solving abilities—a testament to their hard work and our vibrant maths curriculum.
