Our Reception children have had a wonderful first week at school. We have been busy making lots of new friends and exploring our new learning environment.
We have taken part in our first PE lesson where we were using our skills to control a football, our first Spanish and French lesson, learning basic greetings. We experienced drama in the theatre and music in our new music space. Together we have created our own Robin Class rules, helping us to feel safe, happy and ready to learn. We also enjoyed reading the story ‘The Dot’ which inspired us to explore how different marks and patterns can be used to create pictures. We used a variety of patterns and marks to create our own unique pieces of artwork.
We are so proud of how well everyone has settled into school life!
