We have had a very busy and exciting week in Year 1! The children looked absolutely fantastic in their amazing outfits for our Palaeontologist Day.
We were thrilled to meet Roger the Rex and had the opportunity to ask a ‘palaeontologist’ lots of interesting questions about dinosaurs and fossils. Thankfully, Roger didn’t eat us, even though we learnt he was a carnivore!
Throughout the day, we took part in lots of exciting activities. We built dinosaurs from their skeletons, went on a dinosaur hunt and created our own beautiful dinosaur mosaics. We also discovered lots of fascinating dinosaur facts and enjoyed sharing what we had learned with our friends.
It was a truly roarsome day!
