This week, our story corner has been buzzing with ‘The Runaway Chapatti’, an Indian twist on the classic Gingerbread Man. Our teachers gathered us together to hear about the cheeky chapatti who leapt out of the pan and dashed away. Once the story was finished, we wanted to know where this tale came from. We found India on the globe and discovered just how far away the chapatti had run. Excitingly it was then our turn to get hands-on. We rolled up our sleeves and flipped our own chapattis! What a great story!
