Year 6 Take on Macbeth 13th February 2026 Creative Arts Year 6 were challenged this week to recite and act out some of Shakespeare’s text from Macbeth. For many, this was their first encounter with Shakespearean language and initially appeared as a rather daunting endeavour. However, their perseverance and determination paid off, as they managed to navigate their way around the tricky words and phrases, adding body language and tone of voice to their performances. This week we were looking at Act 1, Scene 7, where Lady Macbeth is trying to persuade her husband that the only course of action is to kill King Duncan, so Macbeth can take the throne!
