Year 4 Shine on the Big Screen! 17th October 2025 Creative Arts Performing Arts Year 4 became film stars for the day during their visit to Eastbrook Film Studios this week. This once-in-a-lifetime experience gave pupils the chance to explore a real film set, meet members of the cast, and discover how movies are made and, even more excitingly, to take part in the filming themselves! After a visit to the make-up chair and costume department, pupils soaked up the buzz of the recording studio before watching professional actors perform. They then danced and sang their hearts out in front of the cameras, capturing memories that will last forever. A particular highlight was meeting the film’s director and star, the one and only Rebel Wilson! The film is set for release next year, and Year 4 – soon to be Year 5 -will enjoy a special cinema trip to see the movie they helped bring to life. We are enormously grateful to Mr Hillary for organising this unforgettable experience, and to the talented cast and crew at Eastbrook Film Studios , especially Rebel herself. Watch out, Hollywood – Year 4 are on their way!
