Year 5 & 6 Brass Demonstration 7th November 2025 Creative Arts This week, Alastair Warren visited our music lessons to give our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils a taste of some of the brass lessons on offer at Copthorne. Pupils can learn the Cornet, Trumpet or Trombone with Mr Warren, who also teaches at Caterham and Ardingly. After enjoying several contrasting pieces, from Renaissance to Jazz, our pupils had some special requests of their own: ‘Wah, Wah, Waaaah’ (you know the one!) and the motorbike sound effect!
