The Truffula Turnaround with Year 4 16th May 2025 Creative Arts Once-lers were repentant about cutting down wonderous Truffula trees thanks to the repeated warnings from Loraxes and first-hand experiences from Humming-Fishes! Those of you familiar with the works of Dr. Seuss might be able to guess which of his stories the Year 4 thespians brought to life in this week’s Drama session. Groups of children collaborated together to try and capture the whimsical characters and fantastical settings from the Lorax through the beauty of the rhyming text written in anapestic meter. Characterisation, body language and tone of voice were developed, and careful attention was also paid to the use of the stage with freeze frame used to capture key moments.
