This plan is very much a working document, and presents our vision for the strategic direction of our wonderful school over the next three years. It is by no means the plan of a select few, but rather an open document where we invite and encourage all who share in our vision, staff, parents and pupils alike, to help us consider how we take Copthorne Prep School on an exciting journey into the future.
As a school community, we have already identified six strategic themes that underpin our vision and will help us to ensure that we continue to improve upon the excellent quality of teaching and learning for all our children. We want our development plan to encourage and enable all our pupils and staff to fulfil their extraordinary potential by finding ways in which both their knowledge and skills are increased and strengthened as each year that they spend in our care passes.
Our strategic development plan should therefore enable us to continue to grow and develop as a nurturing and caring school where safety, respect and trust are paramount and where as a community everyone can share in both our triumphs and defeats and know how important it is to embrace both as learning opportunities. We hope that as our plan develops, our pupils will be able to make greater sense of the world and to know how to have a positive impact upon it.
