Thank you for supporting the children in the making of their ‘Shape hats’ – they did look a treat in them and the children were able to explain how they made them and which shapes they used. We had a little dance in them and paraded around the assembly hall for us all to see. In the geography part of our topic we have had great fun this week finding our homes on ‘Streetmap’ and have noticed rivers, houses, motorways, fields, and much more. We learnt that our postcodes are really helpful especially if we are finding a new place with a Sat Nav! Some of the children actually live quite near to each other! Please look out for a homework sheet in bookbags today – learning our address and finding out our postcodes!
