On Monday, Year 6 set off from Three Bridges to London Bridge. After a short walk along the Southbank, we arrived at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Here, we had a tour of the theatre itself, which included the chance to stand on the stage and say some lines from Macbeth to the captivated audience of tourists. Next we completed a workshop on Macbeth, as we will be studying the bard’s ‘Scottish Play’ next term. After a quick march across the Millenium Bridge and around St Paul’s Cathedral, we jumped back on the train for home. A fabulous day was had by all.
